In designing our hatchet, we worked with handle carver Dane Gibson of Carson, WA, to experiment with new designs that might enhance the user experience both functionality and aesthetically. This one is a little longer than the others auctioned off in the first round, but great googly moogly what a nice hatchet this is! Remarkably tight hickory grain in this wood. Don't often get to see that. Hand-made handle, hand-made head in the weight and dimensions of an outstanding all-round camping hatchet. Just classic is every way. Nuff said.
