In designing our hatchet, we worked with handle carver Dane Gibson of Carson, WA, to experiment with new designs that might enhance the user experience both functionality and aesthetically. This one turned out to be a one-of-a-kind piece of art. There is absolutely nothing standard or conventional about this curvy, octogonal-lized white oak handle. We paired it with a 1.5lb diamond-lugged head because it just seemed right. Honestly, hard to let this one go! Comes with a black 6-7oz leather hand-sewn mask and a LAMACA two-sided strop (pictured).
