In designing our hatchet, we worked with handle carver Dane Gibson of Carson, WA, to experiment with new designs that might enhance the user experience both functionality and aesthetically. One of the most striking designs was this beautifully shaped hickory handle that ends in a rounded, flared ergonomic grip which just sits very easily in the hand. Niiiiiiiice. Very comfy feeling hatchet! Great grip for whittling too. Comes with a black 6-7oz leather mask with brass rivets and a LAMACA two-sided strop (pictured)!
